If you work in the STEM fields, please attend our kick-off meeting Sunday, September 9. We will be designing an initiative using our unique skill sets and ways of thinking in order to help our church engage the broader community. Meet in the Teacher's lounge Cafeteria) immediately following the worship gathering. This effort is is part of a larger initiative called The Good Work Venture - a hands-on, experimental program designed for Christians who take their work seriously. The Good Work Venture is aimed at helping us rediscover a calling that integrates Sundays and the workweek, thought and action, sacred and secular. On Sunday, September 30, TGC women will gather for a time of inspiration, connection, and encouragement. We will meet in the cafeteria before the worship gathering from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Coffee will be provided. This is an event for all women. If you have children, let dad get the kids ready and bring them to church. Childcare will be provided for single moms.
On Saturday, September 22 we head to Hurd’s Apple Farm for a day of frolicking in the orchards and bringing home some tasty apple goodness.
